All Silk Journal pieces are thoughtfully designed in my little studio in Glasgow and crafted in the UK.

All artworks are completely original and unique. Advanced digital printing technology helps to capture my concept in the finest detail, while always retaining the hand-made natural element.

I produce very small quantities and each piece is individually named and numbered, complete with its own riso-printed label, light woven dust bag and box*.

I aim to keep the business as sustainable as possible. The scarves are produced in a zero - waste manner and printed in an eco-friendly process with certified Azo - dye - free inks using less water and fewer chemicals when compared with traditional methods. Pure silk is biodegradable, feels soft and allows your skin to breathe. The rolled hem keeps the scarf secure and lasting for years to come. All available items are meant to comfort, protect and embrace you as well as the environment.

They are also handcrafted personal goods that need to be handled with CARE. Dry clean only.

*Please note, due to the nature of machinery and software used in the design and printing process, some uneven tones or marks might be apparent - ink spots or ‘mark back’ on large areas of flat colour might show. Due to the lightfastness rating of the dyes used, it is not recommended to expose purchased items to UV light for extended periods. Fading from sunlight is inevitable.

The individual hemmig of each item might vary and any unevenness, creasing or spacing is a part of handling such delicate fabric and a finely recorded process of hand - finishing.
